First, I'd like to apologize for falling off the face of the internet for a while and this being extremely late.

 

Now, I'd like to do this:

Private applications are open from right this second until the 14th at an undetermined time.
 
If you meet the following we encourage you to apply via the Apply tab.

• 12 months of forum membership
• 1000 posts on the forum
• Consistent activity, friendliness, and/or helpfulness
• Contributions of some sort including but not limited to programming, graphics or contests participation (remember, contributions come in all shapes and sizes)

If you don't meet these qualifications yet, start posting and contributing!

If you've applied and been rejected before, you should take a look at the application again. The questions have been updated and are now more relevant and easier to answer.

P.S. The more thought you put into the questions, the more likely you'll get in

I can say this is true. If you put some thought into it, we like to see that and it actually helps your app. You don't put any thought in,or you put very little thought into it, we don't enjoy seeing that and it can actually harm you if we were on the fence about it. I've said this before and I'll say it again:

 

Jokes are fine, as long as they're not your entire app. Jokes are fine in your answers as long as the entire answer isn't just a joke. If you can't think of an answer, just put "I can't think of anything" or something like that. It shows, at least to me, you at least tried to put thought into the answer and couldn't come up with one, instead of just putting in a joke instead. If you just put in a joke when you can't think of an answer, at least to me, it looks like you didn't care enough to answer the question.
