Hi,

I have a quick question regarding the "Banned, Suspended and Warned" section.

Is it actually possible to have a negative amount of replies to a thread/forum? Reason being because the BSW section is currently saying a total of -207 replies, despite being 2,380 threads in that section.

Thanks for your help!

That would be due to deleted/hidden posts ;)

Okay, that make sense, thank you for the explanation.

By deleted, do you mean threads/posts that have totally disappeared from the site, or only accessible to staff members/admins? As an example, this thread: http://www.neocodex..../20045-def-cut/ has "-1 reply" (is that possible?) and is an empty thread.

As a former staff member, I can tell you that there are very few posts that are actually deleted. Most things that disappear are simply hidden, and only accessible to staff members. That thread has -1 reply because of what Strategist said, so yes it is possible :p.

It was more than likely pruned but kept on the forum. Staff can still see everything though.

Aah okay, thank you for the information. I had an inkling that the posts had been hidden from public view because I don't think the forum software would actually like it if the thread was actually empty. So long as the mods/admins can see the information, so that they can refer back when required.

And btw, I have one last question: can moderators and admins still receive warnings, suspensions and bans? Because I thought that the last member to receive a warning was a mod?

If they break the rules then yes, they can be warned.

Won't happen :p I'm too nice xD

Sweeney was a mod at one time (well, a couple of times xD) but isn't one now (nor was he when he received that warning).

This ^
Not to mention, their role as a staff member would be seriously looked at and possibly removed if someone were to act against the rules they are supposed to uphold.

Yeah, staff members should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves if they get warned for anything. Disgraceful.

Oh yeah, just noticed that they're not a mod anymore. I thought they were before? Never mind...

Thanks for the info - sounds fair enough :) Though it's highly unlikely for a mod to do anything that requires a warning.

We're all much too professional for that.
