I always have a bunch of work to do (essays, readings, other gross college stuff) but I'd still like to play video games on the side... Any recommendations on some games to play?

 

For example, I used to play runescape a bit while working on stuff. It's easy because you can farm easily while doing various tasks, and doesn't require 100% of your attention in order to farm stuff.

 

Recently I've been playing some hearthstone, but I'm interested to see what suggestions you all have  It's always good to change things up!

I used to play Dofus and Wakfu. Both are turn based strategy MMORPGs that plays almost like Final Fantasy Tactics if you are into that kind of thing. Wakfu is the newer and more modern of the two and is available on Steam.

 

In both games, each player gets 15 seconds per turn. Depending on how good you are at strategy games and how quickly you can learn to play, you can multi-task during larger and/or more complex battles. Also almost everything has a sound cue from moves to next turn to chat messages so you can afk until it is your turn or something gets your attention.

I think hes looking for a game where he can work and play at the same time, impossible for league. Skulls of the Shogun is fun if you're into turn based strategy, just move your units around then work while the AI moves theirs and its a pretty fun game.

@Nashime Yeah I play league every now and then with friends, but it's a bit hard to play while writing an essay haha

This game looks pretty cool! I'm really digging the art style. I might check this out (plus it's only 5 bucks if I get it for my phone) Thanks!
