Anyone else noticed that the NP ratio on Kass Basher has now been made impossible?

 

Here is a link to show just how poor the NP ratio is... this is the 2nd time they've decided to do this!

 

Furthermore... last year the game ratios were not updated on 12/25/14, because it was Christmas... Funnily enough, the next time the ratios will update will also be Christmas Day 2015. If no one from TNT wants to work their Christmas, the ratios will be this poor for 2 months, which is exactly what happened last year!

 

I'm seriously thinking of logging in to spin the Trudy's daily (until the next 100k, anyway) then just packing up Neopets until TNT decide to improve the ratios, which given what happened last year, would be Jan 25th, 2016!

 

Anyone else unhappy about this?

 

edit: At least Suteks Tomb is good this time, I can play that instead of Kass basher.

Yes, now it's impossible to do 3000 nps easy in this game!!

But, i sent an 360 score for Math's nightmare and have earned 1000 neopoints. Why not try other game? When an game np ratio is bad, other game np ratio is nice. Math's Nightmare is very very easy now to do NP.

As a caution, I would remove the "your score" part from that screenshot, and the part that has your neofriends name and score on it. I wouldn't want your neofriend to get frozen because their username was posted (even in a screenshot) on a cheating forum. Even though neither of the scores are on the HST, I just wouldn't post anything like that on here. Just a screenshot of the game window with the score requirement would have been fine.

Thanks for flagging that! I honestly hadn't checked the screenshot and didn't realize it had information that TNT could see...

 

As for the actual NP ratio, I'm going to either try and find more games to play, or stop playing the games altogether. From Day 10 onwards Trudy's Daily Spinny thing gives me a net profit anyway (after I have bought a day's worth of shares).

Well I have checked today (because the 25th or 26th of the month is when the score ratios change) and the ratio has remained exactly the same - it hasn't been altered. Still a ridiculous ratio.

 

I'm hoping that the ratios will change when the TNT staff come back into office, but this happened again last year - on November 25, Jumpstart hoiked up the ratio for Kass Basher and it stayed that high for 2 months because TNT couldn't be bothered to change the ratio on Christmas Day or Boxing day.

I wouldn't be surprised if they never update it considering the state of the site lol. I mean, they can't even be bothered to fix the user count on the front page and instead got rid of it to hide their declining userbase. -shrug

Well if they never update any of the game scores again then even more people would leave the site because one of the easiest ways of getting 3k NP per day has now turned into an impossibility.

 

Honestly? I think that, by the end of 2016, Neopets may be on its last legs, or possibly even closed.

I've read on the boards that this happens over and over. They say that the ratio for Kass Basher will stay the same for 3 months and then it'll change on the 25th. It's a cycle apparently.

Most NP ratios change on the 26th of each month nowadays, with the exception of December - TNT/Jumpstart are too lazy to come in on Boxing Day, so don't change the ratios until January.

 

usually, there are fluctuations that make it easier and harder to get 1000NP - but not impossible, like it is now. Even with the tree as your bat (which rarely happens), you'll get about 1700 points. Not 2130, which is required. 

 

Usually, anything below 850 points/1k is easy to achieve, whilst anything above 1,000 points/1k is difficult. 2130 points/1k, or anything like that, is outright impossible.

Well well well... November 26th is tomorrow, so what's the chances of TNT being too lazy to change the ratios over Christmas?

 

Also what's the chances of TNT making the ratios ridiculously high as of tomorrow, so that they are stuck like it for 2 months?

 

Lastly, how on earth are Jumpstart/Neopets still afloat? I thought they'd have closed the site by now as it's just in stagnation and nothing is being done to fix anything - Key Quest has been down for over 2 years! They said it would be down for a week - not 2 fucking years!!!
