I was browsing around the forums earlier this week (can't remember which) and read something about free advance membership.  The posts on the forum was dated a while back so I'm not sure if the requirements are the still the same. Is Neocodex still offering this?  If so, how do we get free advance membership?

If it's the one I'm thinking about, it was a very generous Codexian giving away a month of Advance.

Unfortunately that member hasn't been around much so that thread has been locked until/if he's ready to start it again.

 

Occasionally memberships are given away as prizes in some of our super awesome contests, and if you're really patient you can also complete offers & do surveys for points which can then be exchanged for Advance or other items in our Codex Store:

^Unfortunately not all offers are reliable (so please use caution) and some a*hole hosts don't credit like they should. As Codex does not personally host these offers we cannot offer any guarantees. Though, sometimes, if you can prove you completed an offer the host will credit if you get directly in contact with them via Get Help.

But that's just the exact same thing as what rauul said.. do you even read comments

 

Also because they're non-spam it doesn't mean you'll be nominated at 500 posts, it helps a lot if you're contributing and trying to help fellow members.
