What did our community teach you? Like life lessons and such :p

Did you change (point of view/personality/...) because of Neocodex?

TEACH. Not learn. *shudders*

Literally nothing. My personality has changed but mostly because I've been here for almost 12 years and I've gone from 15 to 26 in that time.

Oh wow I learned two things today, all thanks to Codex! What a great day :p

Also in these two years I've been on codex, my English has gotten way better. (Not really because of school)

I remember not understanding almost half of the words Sweeney used.

Uh...That being nice and helpful to people online makes me feel like I did something good? I'm not kidding here. I guess I may have learned a couple things about programming but I can't figure out what. That everyone starts out as a newbie and you don't need to be embarrassed you don't know/understand things.

I feel like there's more, but I can't really think of anything.

I've learned quite a few things in my 10 years here. I've learned that not everyone thinks like me (thank God). I've learned to accept people no matter their lifestyle, and most importantly, I've learned to really try to understand people's point of view. Not everyone comes from the same background, and most will have opposing views/opinions. Codex has taught me a lot, and I still have lots more to learn!

Oh, and this.

Some programming malarkey, that small, niche communities can have a surprisingly diverse range of people and that badgers and kittens are suspiciously similar, I think that's it.

Ways to spend my sleepless nights. Now, instead of staring at the ceiling, I [s]stalk[/i] enjoy reading people's posts, and really old threads. And I think it helped me improving my English. That's pretty much it.

If you're similar to a kitten, do you purr when people pet your back and then two seconds later hiss at them?

Hilarious examples or primitive pecking order and asserting dominance when I first came here lol. But that you're all a bunch of sweet softies underneath all that peacocky stuff.
