Hi!

I'm a neopets-addicted girl of 24 years. I live in Germany and work as a nursery nurse with children from 1-3 years old.

I've been playing Neopets for roughly 10 years with a few breaks. I'm registered on Neocodex since 5 years but only to use the programs provided by the forum - but now I want to get to know the community better ;) Maybe I can improve my English too?

My absolute dreampet is a UC Faerie Xweetok - I remember applying for HUNDREDS of them when they were still common .. unfortunately I figured out too late how to make enough NPs and paint one for myself. I have almost given up on this dream. But I think there are a lot of other beautiful pets I'd like to "hunt for".

Although it's not the same fun as back then but it's still fun!

Nice to meet you all and have a nice day ;)

~Croco

Welcome officially to the dark side!

A good way to get started with being active is checking out the Newbie Scavenger Hunt, it'll get you a cute award and show where things are around the site.

You probably have one of the best jobs in the world except for the ailing babies like ones with high levels of bilirubin that require phototherapy or ones with respiratory issues from being premies. I've heard a lot from my nursing friends. Oops nevermind, I thought you do newborn nursing. I can't read.

Your English is already a step above the accepted norm. If you didn't say where you were, I'd assume you'd be from the US or UK.

Welcome to Codex.

Wow, so many replies in so little time! Thank you :)

Haha, @Kelvin, I didn't even understand one of the words you striked through.  :lol2: My job is more a social profession than a medical.

I have learned English only in school (okay, some holidays and exchanges too) but it's been a time. Also, my writing was always better than my speaking.

Proud of the new award, yay!

Hey, welcome into the fold and out of the Lurk.  Your English is really good, so don't worry too much.  Here's hoping you get that pet eventually!

Hi Croco! Welcome back to codex. :3 There are plenty of non-native English speakers/writers here. So, don't worry too much. You're fine.
