While I'm not particularly a football person, I do like commercials and FOOD. 

 

I woke up super early (pun intended) and started a pork butt on the smoker. Made some bacon and cheese filled pepper snacks, and will probably make a couple different kinds of dips here in a little while. Made a couple bets and now I'm just waiting.

 

I'M ESPECIALLY excited about the Pokemon commercial that's supposed to be on.

Though you mentioned a Pokemon commercial? Any idea of what its about?

I wish I could cook something nice, but all I have is a microwave, so yesterday I went out and bought a bunch of chips, oreos, gatorade, and chocolate. My new remote works on our TV in the basement, so I'll be watching down there if someone isn't already using it. Everytime I go down there, there seems to be this kid who just sleeps on the couches. If they're down there today, I don't care. I'm turing on the SB no matter what. Even if it, or my screaming at the TV wakes them up. I will be tweeting throughout the game my reactions to plays and such, as I do with every football game. I root for any team to lose that beats the Steelers, so I'm on the side of Carolina for this game. Plus, they went 15-1 (or so) during the regular season, their final playoff game as 45-18 or so. Compared to Denver whose final game was 20-18, and they got very lucky that the Pats missed the two point conversion which would have sent them into overtime.

We always have great Super Bowl food. Today we ordered pizza and Daniel is making nachos and dip but usually he cooks up a huge feed.

Apparently we're having a party now in our upstairs TV room, and they're ordering pizza. I will watch the SB on a smaller screen (at least I think it's smaller) just because of the pizza. Our campus pizza is just awful, you really don't want to eat it unless you're desprate.

@Jess Pokemon revealed their Superbowl ad like 2 weeks ago lol. Probably gonna be a shorter version of this, hopefully they add some sort of announcement to it instead.

I'll be at work for the first part of the game. And early morning shift tomorrow, so no party for me

Work is hectic this time of year, so I wasn't able to use a vacation day for tomorrow. That kind of sucks because I live in Charlotte so I'm obviously partying and cheering on the Panthers. I am super hyped about the game, and hope we are able to win our first Super Bowl ever.

The advert is only 38 seconds long either way. Should have used half of that time to snack on bacon.

 

 

 

I would usually watch the Superbowl but it's on at a silly time for us and I don't care enough about it to waste a day's holiday. It's usually the only game of American Football I can tolerate and only then because it's only once a year.
