I have a couple of neopets programs written in php

 

I don't have any idea how to run those programs...When i double click it, it opens up the browser and shows some code...

 

Please help me, i am such a n00b

@pokeball, have you tried asking the author of the programs you have? That would probably be the most logical thing to do.

The general advice for a php script would be to put it on a webserver and run it.

I think I have a score sender written by sLAUGHTER himself...I have no clue how to run it. He said that the php version was more stable

That's probably so out of date.

You can download the Neocodex Program Manager, and then download the Score Sender from there and run it you know, by the way.

 

It's written by sLAUGHTER too (and Eefi, according to the credits on it).

Install apache that way you can run the .php scripts. Search for Wampserver or XAMPP on google (if you're using windows).

I could go more in-depth but that should give you an idea on how to get started. Also just curious what programs do you have?

Everyone on here is crazy. And unhelpful. Shame on you all. Shame.

 

Don't need to install a web server (unless the application requires it, which it shouldn't), all you need is a simple php binary. I'm assuming you're windows: http://windows.php.net/download/

 

Download it, boot up a web server (cd path/to/app && php -S localhost:8181), open it in your browser (http://localhost:8181) and Bob's your uncle. If you haven't added PHP to your PATH variable, change to cd path/to/app && path/to/php.exe -S localhost:8181).
