I'm not sure if I wanted this expansion, but we'll see how good it is if the rumor is true.

Sounds promising. There have been lots of rumours surrounding the next expansion and the name etc. This seems to confirm it if it's real. I say I won't buy it, but everyone knows that I'll cave and do it anyway once it comes out.

I'm currently saving gold for it. Just about to hit 1k gold. This was after finally getting all of the adventures about 2 weeks ago.

 

I really wonder what kind of a skew this new expansion would have. What mechanics might be unveiled.

I swear I've seen them do this sort of thing before, either that or this déjà vu I'm getting is just me remembering wrong. 

 

Either way, I'm excited for the expansion and what it will bring to hearthstone

 

That and I can't wait to disenchant some cards they change! As well as the terrible adventure legendaries

Curious what kinds of cards will be nerfed to the ground. I'm sure that Knife Juggler and Druid Force/Roar will be demolished.

Husband is super excited about this... because it is new, and new things are fun for a bit. He mentioned something about getting up at 2:30am out time to check for an update. I hope he can wait until 6 or 7am for it though lol. Pretty cool artwork though, hats off to painters (assuming legit).

"PSA: I just received word from Blizzard clarifying that the Standard and Wild formats ARE NOT going live with next week's patch. The formats will only be added along with the release of the expansion, which,according to the post (which may or may not be accurate), is late April/early May.

Edit: To clarify, I do not know the release date for the expansion. Blizzard has yet to announce anything about it. If the link in the OP is accurate, then the expansion is indeed April/May. It could very well be earlier or later than that; we just have to wait until we get word from Blizzard. All that I know is that the Standard and Wild formats are releasing along with the expansion, not with the upcoming patch."

The artwork is done digitally, so the stuff on the wall there is a decal.

True enough, it is very good for artwork of course.
