I've been thinking of doing a new project lately. I want to make a Youtube page that is of me beating NES, SNES, and other similar games with a DDR Dance Pad.

Although I'm having a hard time finding the correct pad that I need.

The Pad I need, needs to have basically 8 directional buttons, Up Down Left Right, and the diagonals which are usually ABXY. It also needs to be a metal pad because I have a lot of experience with foam pads, and I tear them up due to too much use. It would also need a bar for holding myself in place. If anyone has an idea on where to find one, give me a clue! I can't seem to find one at all. Only ones with 6 buttons, AB UDLR. Also, needs to be USB accessible. Bleh

Dance Pads....

Spoiler

Hoping I don't have to make one myself because that would be annoying as fuck. I also don't have the soldering equipment to do it.

Also needing to find a good Youtube page name.

So far, this is what I have found to be best suiting...

Hoping to find an alternative, but might have to do this one.

I've just gotta get over the price of it. :S

$400+ for a gaming project. Not even counting the system I might play it on. Probably will be done with a laptop (already owned) and a large monitor(24-26 in), but could be different.

You're probably not going to find a cheap metal pad unless you happen across one locally.

Even back in the PS2 days my local EBGames was selling a metal pad for at least $200.
