so about an hour ago i hijacked my sisters laptop and stole a copy of photoshop (thats a story for another day)

anyways, i always get carried away doing stuff and this time it was editing my boyfriends car. heres what i came up with in the last hour

PS pls dont judge i havent used photoshop since i was like 15... and i was really only focused on improving the car's look for now

before:

Spoiler

after:

Spoiler

like i said nothing too fancy for now.. just improving the cosmetic look. please dont mind the background i just quickly did something to make it less plain. i realise its still quite pixelated etc, but my boyfriend likes it and im quite proud of it too haha

now that im looking at it i see a few more things i could improve.. otherwise, im really only posting here to ask for some feedback and if someone could recommend some websites/guides that focus on editing cars? esp like background stuff i can do etc :)

and he already wants me to put different wheels on it and lower it.. so he can see what it looks like lol.. jesus, i just started >_> silly boys

nice attempt! :D but one thing that i noticed right off the bat is the silhouette.... it looks kinda jagged? :/ i suggest using pen tool as it allows you to make curves and create smoother selections. currently, the whole image looks a bit flat too. probably you can add a little lens flare?

One thing that can help with those jagged edges is using the "Refine Edge" function in Photoshop. (Select>Refine Edge after your object is selected) Play around with the settings until you get the smoothness that you want, then you can select it, create a new layer with it, or even export it as a separate document.

This tutorial can teach you some tricks with it: https://helpx.adobe....efine-edge.html

Hope that helps a bit. ^^'
