I am new here and have read the Neocodex Rules (Long version) but didn't see anything about posting on old topics.

So my question is what the title says.

Is it allowed? If not, can someone please point me to the rules? Thanks.

I know that some subjects are temporal and doesn't make sense to continue after X days past the event.

What about atemporal subjects, like old topics of working cheats, games and avatars? Should I open a new topic to continue the previous one?

Thanks again.

I've found that it depends on the topic, if you're having a problem with a specific program and no one has posted on that programs thread for months it's okay to post there and ask your question rather than open a new thread about it. But if no one has posted in a general chat thread about "whats your favorite food?" for over a year and then you post saying "Ice cream!" that's less acceptable haha

Not having a rigid rule about this is exactly what makes sense to me.

Your comments were very clarifying. Thank you all.
