Yep! Just as the title suggests. We would like for you to create a logo for Slack, a new way for Neocodex users to communicate with each other. For more on Slack and how to join, view the announcement here.

 

Rules:

1. Made by you, obviously.

2. Must be a 132px square or larger.

3. Must have a solid background colour.

4. User a graphical logo rather than text

5. Leave space around the icon

6. Remember to keep it appropriate.

7. Send your submissions to me!

8. Voting will be anonymous so don't post here or show others!

What do you mean by "space around the icon"? You want a transparent PNG with the image being smaller than the canvas size? But with a solid bg color, why would this be desirable? Or do you simply mean that the graphic should not touch all four edges of the image?

I was wondering the same as I was looking at the slack logo and thinking hmm this needs to be a image with no BG ie transparent PNG.

i know winning this contest isn't as glamarous as winning the first thread of the month, but do i agree with @Devendra that we need an award for this. this is the first official competition without offering any awards since the award system is introduced. it seems a little odd.

perhaps we could re-purpose the random contest award to award the winners of this contest? this seems random enough. (and i still need that award)
