It's a mermaid tiara. Reinforced a plastic tiara with cardboard and then hot-glued seashells and fake pearls

Charms showcase a sea star/ star fish and shells found in the ocean. Blue beads signify the ocean waves and clear beads signify the bubbles made by the fish.

That tiara is absolutely amazing, @Nanarie ! Is it super heavy? If it's light, I might have to make one myself for a cosplay at some point. I'm just a tad obsessed with merfolk

Thank you! The tiara is pretty heavy but it's not unwearable, I put it on and it's pretty comfortable once you position it properly on your head.

Ah, so maybe better for posing for photos than wearing all day at a con or something. Or maybe a more sparse tiara would still look cool while weighing less.

Yes, if you just glued shells to the spokes(?) of the tiara instead of reinforcing the back with cardboard like I did to make a solid piece it'll weigh a lot less. This one, you could probably wear maybe 2-3 hours but a whole day might start to get uncomfortable.
