I've been score sending on a few accounts and whenever i look them up on neopets it says it couldn't find the account, and whenever I login it says invalid password.

 

Does this mean I've been iced?

Ah sucks, and here I thought I'd have my own evil neopian empire.  I was score sending 30k/account 50 accounts with 5 accounts / ip.  Wrote a bot to make the accounts and used my own mailserver.  Lasted 3 days.

Did any of the scores get on the High Score Table?
When I first created my shells, I score sent on all of them to get a few game avatars and a few of them ended up getting s trophy for one of the games and then one of those accounts ended up getting iced.
Usually the legit players are little pussies and report you if they see a newbie account getting a trophy lmao

Good to know about how to find out you've been frozen though. I had a mini panic attack the other day when I couldn't get into my main after SSing. Turns out caps lock was on.

I autobought last week for the first time in forever. The next day I tried to log on and I guessed my password so many times it locked me out, so I tried to log onto my side to check if my main was banned, but I got locked out of my side too.

It's always strange to me when people who don't even know the fundamentals of neo start right away with codex.   It's cool, though.  Just strange.

This enquiry doesn't mean that they aren't familiar with the "fundamentals of neo" thoughh. At most, perhaps they aren't familiar with being frozen or haven't been frozen for some time or something.

Like, you'd log in and instead of going to the homepage, it would take you to a white page with the red lettering saying, "Sorry, this account has been frozen due to...". Forgive me if I'm wrong; this would have been Adam and Donna era-ish.

Yup, that's what I heard. Nowadays though, they give no notice. If you try to login, you will just be unable to login right now. Only if you check the account's lookup will it tell you it is disabled.

 

People who are familiar with that older system, but haven't been frozen recently, would thus be unfamiliar with the current no-alert, don't-tell-you-why-you-are-frozen way of doing things right now.

When I got frozen in december 2015 I didn't know my account was frozen because my last was back when we had a page telling you the reason why you got frozen. Not everyone knows what happens when you get frozen now.

Yeah, that was what I got when I was frozen back in 2011. They used to tell you the reason too, like "This account was frozen due to the following reason: Cheating in flash games". Idk why they removed it.

The problem is the source you used for your scoring data is from 2009. A lot has changed this then, in terms of score format and how things are calculated (i.e. what you should be sending.)

This, plus are you sure you didn't mess up even one score? Even if you send one impossible/improbable score you can get iced.
