Who to nominate: We are looking for someone who is kind, helpful, and has made great contributions to the forum while encouraging activity. You may nominate up to three people.

 

How to nominate: To nominate, either PM me or post here. Your nomination must include the person's username and 2-3 well thought out reasons - for example, explaining how well you think they did contributing to something. Reasons like "because they're cool" will not be counted.

 

How to win: The three users with the most nominations will be voted on at the end of the nomination period. The person with the most votes at the end of the voting period will become July's Member of the Month.

 

Full Rules:

- Do not nominate yourself or ask to be nominated.

- Staff members may be nominated but each individual staff member may only win once every six months.

- Provide 2-3 well thought out reasons as to why you think the user you have nominated should be Member of the Month. If your reasoning is not valid, your nomination may not be considered.

- Post your nomination here or PM me if you would like to be anonymous.

- If you won the previous month, you cannot be nominated.

This award can be achieved by anyone by following the criteria below:

- Of those 3 nominees, none of them must be staff members (moderators+admins) who won within the last six MOTM's.

@Aria as the world was reeling from shock because of the orlando shooting incident, he decided to create a thread dedicated to dispel any confusion about the LGBT community. that was very thoughtful of him and i really appreciate his effort-- especially since i was a victim of homophobia recently too. @Aria also has a constant presence in the forum and always tries to contribute as much as he can such as by being one of the members of neocodex elite four.

@Shane he's very consistent in hosting the card against humanity contest which a lot of people are very excited about. with the contest, he goes the extra mile by tweaking the time slot to ensure most people will have a chance to participate. i think that is a really cool thing for him to do. he also designed a really awesome award for his contest. plus, he is super friendly and radiates good vibes.

@ortin for taking some time away from his busy schedule cello-ing to write a pretty comprehensive guide on how to get into private. i'm sure it will help a lot of members who aspire to sit at the top near the top of the neocodex pyramid one day. i wish i could benefit from such a guide when i applied to private because i was part of the first batch of applicants who had to be judged by all private members instead of only the staff members. it was so nerve-wrecking y'all. (how to get into retired guide next, please.)

honorable mentions: @Pryanka and @Hellraid for reviving the graphic resources subforum with all their amazing graphic tutorials. @Ka1 for keeping us-- especially lazy-bum me--in the loop with all the stuff happening in the altador cup. @Dont for breathing some life into this godforsaken place with his controversial thread.

@HiMyNameIsJunjie For being active, posting helpful guides about ABing stuff and proxies, and just generally being a really nice person to have around the boards and even using a giveaway to inspire other people to be nice and spread the love

 

@Adam He's always active and posting interesting threads to keep the community interesting, and he has a cute dog and a nice smile His Advanced membership giveaway is also a really nice thing to do for new members and a good way to keep them interested and feeling like part of the community.

 

@Kelvin for hosting the Team Codex Insider Experience Giveaway and helping @Coops with the bingo board raffle (I would also nominate her but she won last month xP) and generally he seems to be helping behind the scenes of a lot of big events which is probably a lot of work

My 1st nomination is @WarezHaxor 1.) He is a fine conversationalist 2.) Gives great advice 3.) And is one of my best friends on here!

 

My 2nd nomination is @Unseen 1.) He is just a supportive guy who is willing to help a friend in need when he can! It really meant a lot to me! 2.) He has good taste in animals,... I had 4 sugar gliders and loved them! 3.) He hates microwave cheese sticks.... just like me!

 

And for my 3rd nomination, I am going to second @HiMyNameIsJunjie 1.) He is a great motivator and wants people to spread the love. 2.) A good person to talk to to pass the time when you just want to talk. 3.) Does a lot to help those who play/cheat on Neopets to be better at it!

@Fikri He does a lot of behind the scenes work that I don't think many people realize. His numerous award graphics are awesome and he's always willing to create more whenever someone needs them. Additionally, he designed the Slack logo(s) which turned out great. And finally, as annoying as some of his TOTM ideas are, at least he's trying to stir up activity.
