Which bots have you been using? I recently discovered about Hackemon, which actually works on mac and looks pretty safe to avoid a ban

I used NecroBot until it shut down, I'm using PokeMob at the moment but I still have to try some other configs to NecroBot.

Doing around 30-40k exp/h, which is nearly nothing compared to Necro but at least I don't get banned XD

Usually on the computer. Hackemon is the one I use, and works on pretty much any OS because it's Java
However, the risk of getting banned is still medium, so use at your own (potential) peril.

Is the risk of being banned only for the account you're botting? Like if I make a side account and bot it on my own wifi, might they IP ban my main?

Hopefully not, just try doing that.

 

As an FYI that nests have once again shifted. Most likely the starters + Pikachu nests haven't though, they seem static here in Arizona.

I caught a scyther and hatched a sandshrew yesterday and I'm pretty happy about both of those.

Also @blue someone came by last night and knocked my mom's pokemon out from the gym but no one else and I was able to beat everyone and put my own pokemon in after that.

Appraisals or finding out how good your Pokemon's IVs are is now built into the game. Although I still think GoIV for Android is a much better option.

The best part is these calculator apps become that much more accurate because you can find out exactly which stat is the highest which can eliminate impossible combinations.

I personally wish it were somewhere else. Just makes it that much easier to accidentally transfer it.

The game asks for confirmation before transferring anyway.

I've teleported distances like that quite a few times, some unintentional and some because I was lazy. I think I'm just lucky that Niantic didn't catch me Once shouldn't be a big deal though.

Well so far, not banned. And I've sniped a few from long distances *fingers crossed for no ban*

People complaining about the pokemon go update should suck a giant ass dick. "Not enough candies" --well, it is still more candies than you were getting before you pricks. What, did you want a candy to appear every 30 seconds? That would nerf the game. They also want you to get outside--that is what makes the game unique.

 

Or you can use a bot and get a shitton of candies that way. Whichever way works. I just refuse to use a bot on my main account. Don't want to risk it--plus, it takes the whole point out of the game imo. (but I am running bot on a side for science)

Went out and smashed Community Day this month with over 200 squirtle caught. Ended up with 7 shinies, a bunch of Sunglasses Squirtles, one shiny Sunglasses Squirtle, which I then evolved up to Blastoise (STOKED with that one). Also managed to hatch a few eggs along the way as well. My Alolan eggs are about 300 metres away from being hatched, so I cannot wait to get out for a bit more tomorrow and do that so I can see what I've gotten from my international mates

 

Also managed to send out a bunch of gifts to most of the people on my friends list. I prioritised the international mates first though <3
