Okay, I'd hope people agree with me on this one.

 

I'm down with cheating and all, but seriously...people who make/use CGers are the scummiest of scum in my eyes. ABing/SSing are essentially victim-less  in my eyes. Yeah you beat someone to an item who isn't cheating, but CGing is on a different level to me.

Idk how people are when it comes to cheating on a website hahaha, neopets is my only online vice and always has been my only one. I hoped everyone here's moral compass was pointing in the right direction but who knows unless they ask? Do I really think this place doesn't have a single person that uses a CGer? No way. haha

It's equally easy to cheat in ways that don't hurt other people, so I am not sure what the draw is unless there is something exceedingly exclusive to be gained.

I could definitely see the rewards of it. Collectors would definitely do nasty things for certain items that can't be obtained through normal ways. It's just why? I personally couldn't do that to someone, regardless of it being something that isn't real.

Well I do agree it's unethical as i've been on the both sides a lot of times   As a kid I never managed to hack anybody's account but I was a kid back in the day and that's when i first learned about keyloggers and so on  It was due to a hack that my main is no longer alive and the reason i quit back in 2005-2006(something around that?)  Pesky hackers!

That's the reason Neocodex was always my favorite forum. While all the other forums allowed selling active accounts, codex was clear that you couldn't sell stolen goods here.

Now it seems that you can't sell actives anywhere, but that's just because they don't want neo to die, not for ethical reasons.
