Entry 1: Underwater World of Great Fascination by @ChaoticBeauty
Every day I wake up afraid of what the news will say.
Who was murdered? Who was robbed? What will it be today?
Never is there any good or any great news to share.
And quite frankly, I find this to be gratefully unfair.
Now I live my life in creative imagination.
In an underwater world full of great fascination.
Beautiful sea life and creatures galore.
All beautifully colored with blues, greens, purples, and more.
Oh, hello my dear mermaid friend. How do you do?
What beautiful hair you have, and your tale, so beautiful, I would like one too!
What! What’s that? You say I can be a mermaid as well?
Oh how I would love to be, live my life under the sea, please do tell!
“All it takes is to find your one true love, a passion, and a sea friend.”
Well, I can do that, I sure can, will you be my sea friend till the end?
Yes, you said yes, step one of three completed.
Now, how to find true love, I asked while seated?
Oh, an idea, I have an idea! Can my one true love on land come and join me?
My true love, without him I would not be happy in the deep blue sea.
You see, he completes me, he makes life worth living!
Together, swimming and being free we have much to be giving.
Yes, he can, you say? And his friend will you also be?
For if so, then together we’ve completed two out of three.
Now for passion, hmmmmm what should it be?
His passion is hunting, and it’s swimming for me!
Now, all that’s left is to choose our fin colors, how exciting!
He chooses red and blue for they are his favorite and oh so inviting.
How many colors can we have? I love them all, it’s so hard to decide.
Oh well then, I choose rainbow and I will wear it with pride!
Now he will hunt to find me in the deep blue sea.
While I swim and dance and wait for him to find me.
When he does, we will want you there.
To see our first true kiss, as mermaids, does that sound fair?
What a perfect and colorful life under the sea.
I have a great friend, and my true love, both perfect as can be.
It’s so nice to get away, if only for a few hours of the day.
But I fear, I think my time is up, it’s time to go to bay.
“Hey! Hello! Are you there?”
Why yes I am, just in my head, imagining, do you care?
Good bye for now, but not for long.
For I’ll be back with an imaginative song!
My imagination is great, this world is unfair.
It’s time to go back into my life’s despair.
Sirens sounding, gunshots fired.
This crazy world, I am so damn tired.

Faithful love that's meant to be
I will swim towards the oceans blue
Just to have a glimpse of you
Trust these words are always true
That I will never stop loving you
Entry 3 by @Guppie
The sky appears blue due to air and other molecules at the edge of the bubble we call our atmosphere getting in the way of light and bumping more blue than red wavelengths off course. The ocean, on the other hand, absorbs the longer wavelengths, leaving only blues and greens. The deeper into the bubble of water you are when you look up toward the bubble of air, the less red and yellow light will be able to reach you. Below 1,000 meters, the ocean has no sunlight at all.
That’s not to say the deep ocean is devoid of life, but the creatures of the midnight zone are extreme by necessity. We take for granted the heliocentric ecology we participate in, while the planet we inhabit is shared by creatures who will never know the light of day.
The ocean is hungry for light: while the bright, blue surface teams with life, most of the ocean is sun-starved black.
Entry 4 by @DonValentino
"Captain! The beasts are smashing holes in the ship! Water is starting to fill her!"
"Order everyone to-"
A sound one hundred times more thunderous than the storm filled the night. It consumed the senses, a deep, terrifying sound that seemed to come from every direction.
Sailors fell to their knees as the ocean split open before them. From the depths of Hell, they watched a monster rise four hundred feet into the sky. Its head blocked the moon and turned their vision black, the only color visible the burning red eyes of the demon.
"My God," the captain said, as the world crashed down on him. "It's Gyarados."
Entry 5: Standing on Eternity's Shore by @Kelvin
cannot soothe me. Nor could the way
she sways in her shimmering blue dress
with creamy white feathers.
Her waltz takes away the breath out of men of honor
and ferries them to an island of their own fantasy.
I'm no gentleman. I could never offer up my hand.
There is another woman that beckons me from behind
and compels the enchanter to brew tempests.
The more I kick her off,
the more she clings to my knees.
In our regrettable farewell, I could not even say sorry.
And she becomes the one doomed to dance without me.
Entry 6: A Rap I Made by @Scot
Movie: Deep Blue Sea. I flee. The film’s cheese. It’s got Samuel L. Jackson but he can’t get any traction; the action belongs in a trash can. #Hashing trend: SharkGnashingMan. No one can, sit to the end.
Go next, to NeoCodex, post the whole set of my cold pokedex to readers unsuspect.
Action gauged, reaction unfazed. Users haze on their facebook page, anyone who strays from the current craze. Still unswayed.
You see it’s not just me, when do we get a reprieve, from the unrelenting heat, from people who march on their feet. They protest the police. The citizens have beef, the movement’s got teeth. More than the sharks from Deep Blue Sea.
