I know we have a thread dedicated to what names we've all had. But why? Why did you pick your Codex username?
Why that name?

I've always kind of thought of myself as a pretty average guy all around, so I started using the word Generic in like all my usernames. "Generic" and then whatever word I feel is applicable to the account I'm creating. Feels like a bit of an ironic calling card, being known as the Generic guy. Plus I think it's a cool word. Plus it kind of goes with the whole stick figure aesthetic which I've slowly grown really attached to.
"Generic" is always the first username I try, but it's usually taken. Wonder why

It's interesting to hear people's reasons for their usernames. When I came back, I didn't want to be known as my usual internet handle, for various reasons. But then I couldn't think of anything. So I went for my cats' names. Unfortunately, Toast was taken...

When I was 10-ish my friends and me created a club whose name was the mixture of our surnames. Soon after that I created my first neopets account under that name just for fun. We forgot about the club like a week after its creation but I stuck around with the account. People started calling me Scavi and I grew tired of correcting them, so my internet name became Scavi.

My name is Heloiza, when I was 13 y/o I had 3 close friends and one day they decided that each of them would call me differently, and it was Helo, Lolo and Lollita xD. I thought Lollita was cute so I started using it as my username everywhere ^^
