Have you guys read it yet? What did you think?

 

I read it tonight and I didn't really enjoy it. I felt like everything was rushed. They were trying to make all these dramatic moments and there was not enough set-up nor enough time to let the moment sink in. The characters were very superficial and there was none of the magic of the original 7 that made me desperate to keep reading. I read it mostly to be able to just finish it.

Haven't read it myself, but what I've heard so far makes it sound like an over-hyped, poorly written fan-fiction more than an actual Harry Potter story. Did Rowling even have all that much to do with it?

 

Still going to give it a chance, but sad to hear such consistent negative reviews thus far.

Yeah what I've heard doesn't sound that good. I don't know if I'm going to bother reading it myself.

I HATED IT. SHOULD'VE BEEN IN A BOOK OR MOVIE FORMAT. I will not accept this book as the future of my beloved HP characters until the day I die.
