Yes.
On the side of hobby than professional. I made four new card games using the standard 52 card deck and games like these where people are pitted against each other. There's also that visual novel 1000+ line demo on my own and completed one my friend never published. Also there's a simple game where you use 5 x 5 grid with 25 tiles with different colors on both sides and a marker for each player. Think more logic puzzles and create your adventure roleplaying story games (with emphasis on story) than first person shooters and complex online MMORPG.
