So icons and idols usually have a big role to play in people's lives wether they realise it or not, from altering your personality, changing the way you think, inspiring you to do certain things... etc. So I'm curious as to who the people are that you look up to the most, excluding family and friends, spare me from that soppy shit :p I'm talking public figures, like musicians, entertainers, philosophers, authors, politicians, you get the idea.

For me Noel Gallagher has always been an idol, it's where I get a lot of my wit/humour because I used to religiously watch every interview like a loser. Musically he's brilliant, 60/70 million records sold I think, that's not fucking bad eh :p Also I'll just leave this shit here, as much as i hate buzzfeed.

Johnny Marr is a legend, he opened my eyes to the fact that you don't have to be playing some sick heavy riff to be cool as fuck. He plays more melodical, and the band were influenced by a lot of girly pop music, so that's why i have no shame in my music taste, i'll listen to Madonna all day, that's my girl. I remember Johnny saying when he wanted to play guitar, he wanted to sound like an entire record and it definitely sounds like it, so that had me in awe. I don't know he's just a wizard with the guitar, the melodies he comes up with are unbeatable  ^_^

So who are some of the people you look up to, and more importantly, why?

I love that Marr went and joined The Cribs.

Well, my daddy and my Boy are obvs actually top because I am soppy. For reals though, that Boy of mine is a flipping legend. Utterly excels at what he does far beyond his years, is the most startlingly dynamic and creative man I've ever known, and he looks after me. He keeps me going and without him I'd be lying drunk in a gutter somewhere.

Matt Berninger for being an absolute poet and saying things I didn't know I wanted to say, time and time again.

For violin stuff, Maxim Vengerov. He's incredibly expressive and effortless AND he's a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. I did a masterclass with him and was just so utterly in awe.

Guitar wise I don't think I have one, maybe Joe Pass (but I don't play anywhere near as good as him). Moral, I always loved The Doctor (Dr. Who) philosophy towards other people/races/whatevs.

Fashion-style-looks (?), Chris Hemsworth (because we have similar body complexion), Beckham and Adam Levine
