We never have a turkey for thanksgiving unless we were invited by the significantly richer friends. At home, I love the larger than usual rotisserie chicken served at the hot counter at Shop Rite or Boston Market.
I love rotisserie chickens

I get in trouble on a yearly basis for eating as much of the crunchy turkey skin as possible right after the bird comes out of the over/fryer. But that is so good. Easily my favorite. My wife also makes really good everything, but before I was married, thanksgiving food was just mediocre.

Mashed potatoes!
And stuffing, but I'm sort of picky about stuffing

I'm from Australia so it's not celebrated here but I wish we had a holiday that lets me devour mashed potatoes all day

Personally I'm a huge fan of bowls. The deeper the better. Plates are soooo 2013.
But seriously, I'm all about the stuffing & gravy.

I make this amazing homemade cran-apple sauce. Cranberry sauce + potatoes + stuffing = the best.

That's awesome @Coops! I love cranberry sauce, but don't think I've ever had cran-apple sauce.
It's so much better than just plain cranberry sauce (homemade or canned) because lemon and apple really complement the bitterness and sweetness of cranberries. I use two green apples, a bag of cranberries, and Oceanspray Cran-Lemonade to make it and sometimes lemon zest if I'm feeling super crafty. You make it like you would regular cranberry sauce but instead of water use the cran-lemonade and you add two peeled apples. It comes out really good. I came up with it on my own. xD

I'm going to throw my hat into the Stuffing and Gravy ring. I want so much of it.
