Have started holding GTS giveaways on reddit for Pokemon Sun/Moon again. They feel pretty fun! Even if it's pretty time consuming, even when using a bot.

I finally got Pokemon Moon! I haven't started playing it yet because of some work that I need to get through first, but I've been looking forward to it for months! I can chill on Pokémon Hawaii with the rest of y'all now o7

Niice! I hope you enjoy it! I enjoyed the story a lot more than I had for some time, for Pokemon games. Quite a few things in the same tried-and-true Pokemon formula were indeed freshened up for Sun/Moon.

I actually haven't been keeping up too much with it, since I still haven't finished normal sun/moon yet...

In all honesty I don't think I'll get it. It takes me ages to actually get through games because I keep forgetting to play them.

 

Kinda was hoping for a Sinnoh remake, though! I'd love to see places like Snowpoint or Canalave with new graphics...

@Sweeney and I just got Pokemon Sun/Moon recently, I'm really liking it!  Team Skull is ridiculous xD  I've been playing more Pokemon Go again lately now too.  I originally got to level 18 and then just stopped playing.  That was right after Gen Con last year I think, so just about a year ago.

I am the saaaame way.  I usually eventually stop playing the game before I get to the end (Pokemon X, Zelda, Marios, etc), or sporadically play games over the span of years (The Sims, WoW, Overwatch, etc).  It's so rare for me to finish a game

Restarted my Pokemon Sun with a Wonderlocke run. It's been pretty fun honestly! Has just the right amount of challenge that I was looking out for.

I just put Pokemon Go back on my phone and I don't think my son could have been more happier. I on the other hand...lol

I missed the Pokemon train as a child. There are so many games I need to catch up on, I just don't think I ever will :-p

Anyone grabbed Pokemon Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon by the way?

 

I happened to be outside yesterday and had the day off, so I just took a detour to grab Ultra Moon, having gotten the original Sun when it came out.

 

Have not started on it yet though.

Begin with the Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green on the GBA. I have a soft spot for the original ones, but the updated versions are significantly better. Same storyline, but updated mechanics.

Been trying to get into Sun/Moon (especially with Ultra having been released last month), but for some reason I just can't. The last region I was able to fully immerse myself in was Kalos, which is kind of disappointing since that was over 4 yrs ago. Time to wait for Gen VIII, I suppose.

Grab a Switch - next one will def not be on 3DS any more. Pick up BOTW while you're at it!
