Yes, if you face such a case you'll have to edit your list to remove such items.

Most of the items on such a list downloaded from the Item DB, are pretty accurate. But you will still need to doublecheck the profitability of the items with other sources and/or test them out first, and then adjust them accordingly.

It's probably a few things:

Firstly make sure you download a list and use it, instead of using the Advanced member function to buy only from a single Shop. You'll also need to adjust it to ensure profitability (as mentioned in my previous post). Using your own list works better.

Here is a guide to using and creating such lists on Abrosia: http://www.neocodex....e-free-ab-lists

Here are some lists already made by users: http://www.neocodex....-to-date-lists/

Also, what are your current buytimes? Buytimes are the 4 digits you get on Abrosia after each buy (listed as "XXXXms" after the name of the item bought, on Abrosia). If your buytimes are too slow you don't get the good stuff. You can adjust buytimes by adjusting the pre-OCR and haggle delay settings until you get a better buytime. But to do so you need to actually know what your current buytimes are first. The lowest buytimes before it gets, like, not humanly possible are about 1400-1600ms. The lowest safe buytimes however, would depend partly on your geographic location & internet speed - someone in Asia would typically not be as fast as someone living about the same area as Neopet's servers who also has high speed internet.

On a newbie account you might want to go for Shops like Food or Books, which might show you profitable items even for such an account.

Additionally you might also want to lower your refresh time. I don't play anymore but when I did I used 3-5s as my refresh time I think. A faster refresh time might lead to faster restock ban however.

Hope this helps.

@Junjie really? manual list in one shop is better than using the Advanced member function?

buy times are 2200-2900 mostly an anomally of 4600ms too (lag)

Yes. Because it allows you to adjust the items and order of the list, to ensure profitability. Whereas you cannot do that with the automatic function, which is priced by bots for buyable items and will thus invariably include some not so profitable items sometimes.

As an Advanced member you can download a list in txt file format from the Item DB, and then adjust it from there however. I did that when I still played. Was nifty. :)

Your buytimes sound ookay. But sounds like there's room to lower them a bit. Feel free to adjust your pre-haggle/OCR settings a bit if you want.

@Junjie thanks for the reply. seems like only ABing in one shop seems not so good, wouldnt it be better to have access to a few shops instead?

AB in the shops one by one. For example, 1 hour of Books, and then switch to Food (and switch to a Food list).

@Junjie, i just restocked some Extra Thick Goggles, and while searchingit on the Neocodex item database, i see that between 10th November 2010 to 15th November 2014 they used to be worth 70k-95k, what caused them to inflate so high?

never mind, i see something to do with the Faerie's Ruin event :)
