Habitica
Since many of us here struggle with anxiety, depression and other mental health issues, I thought it'd be super cool to share a game site I found. It's called Habitica.
It's a game site that let's you earn money/exp for completing real life tasks (basically a super fancy to-do list). The goal is to make daily tasks more fun and to give a reward for doing things. It doesn't necessarily need to be used to manage some of your mental health struggles, but it definitely can work that way (keep in mind - you should set realistic goals for yourself, don't start off with a thousand things, go slow and pace yourself, add more tasks as you feel well enough to do so). You get to choose the tasks you create - so for some of us it can be simple tasks like taking a shower, or maybe doing laundry, or just going to the store for the first time this week. It can be used to increase productivity, keep track of daily/weekly goals, and it's a neat little virtual game.
There is an Android app that can be found in the playstore and a browser version. If you link it to your Google account or FB, you should be able to access your tasks on both your phone and computer.
You can level up, buy gear, fight monsters and more as you do things.
Wiki.
Dailies
These are basic daily tasks you need to get done every day (ex. brush and floss teeth). If you don't do them, you lose health.
Habits
These are things you do habitually. It allows you to track things you tend to do. The starter examples are "eat junk food" (subtracts health) and "take stairs" (adds exp/gold). This way you can keep track of good and bad habits you have.
Will add more as I continue playing.
