Okay so I just did a pacfist ending like 2 weeks ago. 

I bought the game months ago and got a neutral ending and was like "This game is stupid, and was a waste of time"

 

Then I found out about the different endings! The pacifist ending was awesome though, and now I'm so obsessed with the story and soundtrack. (and sans)

So just a couple days ago, I finished the g e n o c i d e run. Never do it. Nope. Don't do it.

1. You kill everyone and your heart gets ripped in half.

I don't think that's too spoilerish lol. But what are your thoughts on undertale? Who's your favorite character? Is Mettaton fabulous or is he fabulous?

There was an Undertale speedrun at AGDQ 2017 a week ago. They do true pacifist with no save and use glitches to get through the game faster. The speedrunner also does the Sans fight after true pacifist is completed.

 

 

True Pacifist starts after 38:18

Sans fight starts after 2:16:44

Its one of those games I am satisfied with watching a video of. Saw dunkey's video on it. His commentary only makes it funnier.

I love Undertale! And the fact that a true pacifist runs exists is the reason why. I always feel bad when I have to kill monsters in some games (yep) so having that route is very important to me <3 

 

Undyne is my fav character. The soundtrack is amazing and reminds me of Homestuck (maybe because Toby used to be part of the music team there?).

Undertale is so good!

 

I honestly bawled my eyes out when I finished it the first time. I love Undyne the most, but Toriel also touched my heart.

 

Toby Fox really outdid himself with this game - I was actually astounded to find out it was done by a single person.

The spear maze always annoys me though, lol

(idk what to call it, it's like the area before you fight her where you're on like a boardwalk dodging her spears)

I bought Undertale and ended up watching a let's play and got carried away by other games before I could finish rip. Needless to say, it's sadly in limbo on a to do list.

lol I do this to myself all the time!
I buy a game, and then I just spoil it for myself because one of the Youtubers I'm subscribed to does a Let's Play on it, and I end up watching the Let's Play instead of playing the game.
(I'm bad at games anyways so it's quicker for me to just watch Let's Plays)

I had the same problem when I played Undertale. The battle mechanic is really difficult - especially when I got to some of the later boss fights.

It takes a while and a lot of deaths, but you get the hang of it eventually! Stay determined.

I'm glad there's a save editor because I like playing the boss fights again but don't want to do the genocide slog again.

When I first played it, I didn't think it was anything overly special. Just really overhyped. But it was the second and third runs that really gave the game depth.
