I miss when the neoboards were super lively, especially the role play ones. It was nice to have to fight to stay on the first page.

I remember the faeries ruin back in 2010, it was the best time I had on neopets. I loved every part of it...the comics, the battle, the puzzles, the teamwork, the story line. Ah, one can only hope the plot they are bringing to us this year will be equally good.

The Faerie's Ruin plot was amazing! The redesigned art for Faerieland is still super high quality years later.

I started Neopets back about 11 years ago, and I vividly remember trying to remember to log on every single day for the advent calendar because I wanted a Christmas PB so bad.

 

I was bad at making neopoints and playing the games as a child but I tried super hard to get my first PB and it ended up being a Ghost PB. Best day of my life.

Neopets was recommended to me by my 6th grade teacher. That was almost 20 years ago. o___O

Was anyone else super active in GC? Guilds sparked my interest in HTML/CSS and graphic design as a teen.  I would literally only come on to socialize and participate in the gc community, not having the time of day to collect avatars, BD, or play games

 

I remember when you could have several boards advertising for the same guild and when there were no time limits as to how often you could bump your board.  It was sad returning recently only to realize how inactive everyone is...

 

To add on, my first memories of Neopets was back in grade school playing Hero Heist at my friend's house after school.  I didn't have internet at home at that point, so my parents would take me to our local library where I'd spend hours playing flash games.

I remember being a kid and my cousin introducing me to Neopets for the first time. Made a second account where I pretended to be older than I was so I could post on the Neoboards. I felt like such a rebel   Being in a guild with some of my friends was cool too, although I doubt any of them play anymore. Guilds these days seem to be practically dead =/
