Randomish summery gif

Had me a blast. So Summer is rapidly approaching, I believe anyways, I don't actually know when it starts I just know it's around this general time.

So what have you all got planned over the next few months? Or if you're like myself and are the more spontaneous type what are some things you would love to do? Even if you're the stay at home type there must be something you're looking forward to, no love lost for those who are  ^_^

Share your plans, or the things you'd like to do and who knows, you might give someone inspiration, an idea, or something in that general vicinity. As quiet and reserved, or as loud and outgoing as they may be.

Summer Lovin', happened so faaaast...

I'll be starting another graphic design internship next week for this summer. Apparently if I work hard enough, the people there might offer me a full-time job, which would be super cool. :D

If I find I still have enough time in my week, I'll strongly consider getting a gym membership. My weight's not coming off fast enough. D:

I'm going on holiday to Malta at some point, just gotta figure out dates with other people. I've also just started a new summer job so that's going to take up a big chunk of my summer as well.

Our exam results are also out next week, along with the cohort ranking and if I finish in the top 10%, I receive a pass with merit which stands me in good stead if I decide to intercalate. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed over the next week.

Well, my birthday is at the end of the month and originally I was planning a trip to the coast with my best friend (whose birthday is the day after mine) but some things have complicated said plans, so now we're playing it by ear.

Other than that, no real plans til September, and then September is TOO busy.

I'm hoping in the coming months to just spend some time at a river, or a lake or something! I love being in water. There is a river nearby that I've never actually been to but its supposed to have some nice little swimmin' holes. :D

There's a Summer Survivors group on Facebook for kids that are in my town during the summer (lots of kids who go to school here live somewhere else) and I just posted this lol:

Dear Summer Survivors,
My name is Woodson and I'm looking for a summer muse.
Sure, taking pictures and writing poems about the flowers in my backyard is nice, but kissing them is just not the same.
Some things about me: I like moderately lengthed walks on the beach, I think bottomless mimosas are one of man's greatest inventions, and I live with my parents. I'm a firm believer that a bottle of wine a night is great for your health (or is it a glass? No, don't answer). I think Jimi Hendrix
is the greatest guitar player of all time. I'm from the city so I don't drive, but I make up for it by telling myself that I'm saving the environment with public transportation.
I'm a huge Mets fan, which means I battle with constant depression, but if they ever start winning, oh boy, you're in for a treat. I think day drinking is an art form.
If you'd like to see some pictures: https://goo.gl/RgF7Wr
If you'd like to read some old poetry: https://goo.gl/YMvq9R
Now it's time to get back to my art (read: day drinking).
Sincerely,
Woodson "Top Gun Wild Boy" Valentino Agte

But besides being a silly boy, I'm looking for a job for the next couple of months so I can move down to Brooklyn at the end of the summer. Also got hired to do photography for a local wine brand this summer, and I'm very excited/nervous for that.

I usually do a lot of camping and beach trips over the summer! I'm really looking forward to disconnecting for a while to sleep on the ground, no sarcasm.

Not much here. We've already done our big holiday for the year so should be a fairly lazy summer in London. We're doing something next month that he's being very secretive about for our anniversary (howww have I been married 8 years?! I was posting a topic here the night before my wedding only a few weeks ago, I'm sure). Lots of time to be spent in beer gardens and open air cinema and other Londony summery things.

It's the summer between my junior and senior years of university so I'm just reveling in the momentary peace and quiet. I also have a research internship going on, but that's only taking about 20ish hours of my time per week. Involves lots of MATLAB and reading about algae :)

Aside from that, tons of swimming and rock climbing. Also I bought a slackline earlier this week that I intend to get good at with all this free time. It's sadly too hot to go outside most days so I either need to go out and be active before 9 AM or after 6 PM. AZ is brutal :/

I wanna go camping soon. I haven't camped since my trip out to Portland, which was 2years ago? D:

It is so nice to just decompress and disconnect from everything. Not have to worry or deal with any bs. lol

I plan on doing a Ben & Jerry's factory tour next month. I'll be doing a lot of hiking this summer. That's about it so far!

I always feel so disassociated during the sommer months. The light is so bright and the noises are like what? MMMmmno thanks. I plan on tanning though. A tan would look superb on me.

I wish I could tan, i'm as white as a ghost. I just burn tho, I have my mother's skin :(

My friend wants me to come to London, they've found a couple nice fields to relax on in the sun. Plus I adore Camden so I can never say no to a trip there.

My other friend is currently on a trip in Paris for Download festival so my eyes are pretty green with envy, leaving me stuck here with the goddamn cows and sheep.

Spontaneous car trips, seeing as I have dumped enough money into the car it is about time it pays me back.

Other than that, work, cats, and hope my new small business is a success throughout the summer. (So far so good)
