Anyone else obsessed with the Season 3 at the moment? I binged watch the original run last year and fell in love, so I'm really pleased with the new run. Anybody else wanna have hours long conversations about this show???

I haven't watched the first two seasons but decided I would give this a go. I love watching intelligent shows like Sherlock, GoT, Hannibal, ones that really make you speculate.
But with Twin Peaks I'm getting more confused the longer I watch it. I downloaded like 7 or 8 episodes so I really want to give it a go, but I think I will have to stop after S3E02 and watch the first 2 seasons first.
And that talking or screaming tree really freaked me out, what's up with that thing?!?
I'm very curious, so I will start from the beginning.
Enjoy the show.

You need to have watched the earlier seasons to be able to 'understand' it really, there's a lot of linkages which are indecipherable otherwise. I can't even imagine what it's like trying to watch series 3 in isolation.

Thanks @WaserLave,
I learned it the hard way. So now I'm downloading the first 2 seasons, so I can catch up with this mayhem.
Talking trees, ghosts speaking slowly and in riddles and like robots...btw that's not how spirits talk at all
.... anyways. I'll start from the first season, thanks for the tip.

Spoiler
it certainly was magnificent, I think it's my favourite episode this season. So far!

I know many fans miss Agent Cooper, and I do too.. but every Dougie scene is just too fucking funny.
Also, perhaps this show isn't a show to 'get' if you catch my meaning. Not every question will be answered, just enjoy the ride.

To you + anyone else who wants to watch:
If you aren't the patient sort (especially the latter half of season 2 goes on and on) and want to catch up quick to this season, you can watch a summary on Youtube.
I would still recommend to watch the show + the movie Fire Walk With Me in it's entirety for the full experience.
It's pretty weird, not everyone's cup of tea.

Dougie is. SO GREAT. I can't even just pick one favourite Dougie moment, they're all fantastic. Dougie getting his first coffee. Dougie imitating the statue. Dougie in the casino. Every Dougie moment is a good Dougie moment.
edit: ahahaha.... just caught up with episode 11...

I just picked this up again at 3am last night after dropping it a couple years ago. Stopped somewhere around episode 12 or 13? I think I'm going to start from episode 1 since there's so much going on. Plus, my SO hasn't seen it so it'll be something we can do together.
I forgot this show started in 1990. The actors look so modern in their roles--I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Norma is Rashida Jones' mom. Damn good(-looking) cast.

I'm editing this post because my mouse double-clicked and submitted my previous post twice. I don't know how to delete posts, so it would be awesome if someone could let me know.

Watched the first two seasons back in high school together with my crush because she was obsessed with all things obscure/hipster/indie/whatever.
If I wouldn't have gotten to play with her titties while we were watching that boring shit I wouldn't even have bothered tbh. There just wasn't enough action and the plot seemed 2deep4u to me.

This week's episode was awesome, the endingggg lmao
And apparently next week's episode was accidentally aired on Germany Sky for people instead of ep. 13, so watch out for spoilers guys

It's funny you say that. I'm trying to get my fiancé into watching it so we can watch the new season together. It's also been on his to-watch list, but he ends up falling asleep halfway through the episode every time. Although I've always liked the dreamy feel in Twin Peaks (especially the music), I can definitely see how it's not for everyone.

I'm in the middle of watching every episode of Twin Peaks on Netflix, since a lot of my friends like it.
It's pretty good!
