I stopped playing Neopets for a while after Jumpstart bought the company and laid off the old staff in 2015. I'd probably have come back to it sooner than this but my grandad was very ill much of last year so my online time was severely limited.

Regardless, my question is this; Is Abrosia still safe to use now that Jumpstart owns/runs Neopets? Or at least, as safe as it ever was lol.

Used to love running this program with the scheduler overnight, and see what it had nabbed up when I woke the next day ^_^

Abrosia is likely just as safe now as it was back then.

Perfect, that's all I needed to know. I didn't know if Jumpstart had made any background/coding changes that would make Abrosia more easily spotted etc.

Thanks for the swift reply ^_^

I've seen quite a few people say something like, "Jumspstart just doesn't care about ABing anymore". Obviously, use Abrosia at your own risk, and me saying you're not likely to get frozen isn't me saying it won't happen lol.

It wouldn't surprise me if Jumpstart just didn't care, they've not got the best reputation in regards to maintaining online games they run, but still, it's nice to check that the threat of banning hasn't exponentially increased since I last used Abrosia :D

*rubs hands together* Looks like I'll be rebuying advanced membership come payday! ^_^

JS does care a little and if you use stupid times you will get flagged.

That said they do slack more than Viacom, so bans happen LESS. but they still do happen. I've gotten myself caught by not using smart times kinda recently. Though I can't blame the program. That was my own stupid fault.

If you play it smart you can probably get away with it. Make it look human and you're probably going to be good.

But any program you use no matter how safe it is will ALWAYS have a risk of getting you caught.
