I just wanted to talk about it with you guys because it's been on my mind since yesterday. I live about a 5 min walk from the bridge so I've been squinting at suspicious joggers all day. It did happen in May but they've just released the footage.
No, she didn't try to trip him. Her leg only flies out when he hits her so we're not getting into that. Trust me, I've watched this too many times and not once does her leg go out to trip him. It only goes out after he's hit her. The tripping thing is just a trick of the eyes because of the quality.
It looks to me like he veers toward her intentionally because it's like he almost slows a bit after the first guy. And thennnn pushes her. Thankfully the bus driver had great reflexes because he could have 1) easily glanced away at the time and 2) could have hit another car because of the asshole jogger.
My favourite take on the whole thing is that it was an attempted hit. I don't actually believe it was, but I just like the theory haha
