The sun sinks in the horizon and you glance upon a massive embellished wooden door. You quickly press the faded doorbell. A spooky tone rings out and a chill runs down your spine. You tap your foot impatiently waiting for the host to answer the door. 'Who takes this long to answer the damn door?' You wonder just as your eyes catch a crumpled piece of paper. You snatch it up from the ground, peeling it open, and you find a couple scrawled images.

Greetings fellow Codexian! It appears there are two new awards. This is a hype thread to prepare for a brand new kind of contest right here at Codex! Someone is going to die and there will be only one winner! OooOoOoOoo. Spooky!

No, I actually drew it but the sign got in the way I mean when it flashes back to the side view you can see the front views for a sec

I will repeat what I said in Slack for others.
 

You can get a participation award from it by signing up. You could theoretically win without dedicating a ton of time to it. But it will involve checking Codex every couple of days at the minimum and occasionally browsing the forum, as well as trying to solve various clues. It is a recurring event. So if you can only participate a lil this time, next time, you could participate more.

 

I would recommend just signing up when the time comes even if you don't end up doing much. Because once sign-ups close, you can't participate at all if you haven't signed up. Also, this contest does not have a time limit. It could run from a couple of days to an entire month, maybe longer.
