THE GAME HAS BEGUN.

The low hum of chatter echoes through the main hall as guests piled in. Suddenly, a blood-curdling scream cuts through the small talk and a grim silence falls over the hall. Rocket appears in the doorway leading to the kitchen, her eyes wide and the color absent from her face.

"He's dead." 

The guests scramble into the kitchen pushing and shoving as each person tries to get a glimpse. Trapezeo is dead on the kitchen floor. 

The host meanders around the body peering curiously at his clenched fist. She uncurled his fingers and freed a crumpled bloody piece of paper.

 

Beneath the scribbled lines is an indistinguishable signature.

 

Notes: I have planted clues throughout Codex. Additionally, I will release clues via this thread so be on the lookout. Remember the clues will not be linear. You may need to use one clue to unlock another. Don't be afraid to browse the rules/guideline thread for ideas about where I've planted clues. Also, the introductory clue is a mini-story. Just because the body was found in the kitchen doesn't mean he died there. Some clues may need to be examined using a photo editor. Here is a free web one: http://www169.lunapic.com/editor/

Try to remember I can't watch this thread 24/7, but I will do my best to keep up with questions and stuff. There are a lot of participants this go around so I may be slow to read your guesses. Take a quick min to review the rules and start hunting for clues! Remember you get one guess per 24 hours so use it wisely. Please do not change your guesses in the PM. If you want to submit a second guess (after the 24 hours are up), just PM me using your original PM. The first person to guess the murderer, the weapon and the room wins the game!

Don't be afraid to work together guys. Also, it is impossible to get all three parts of the mystery right at this time - unless you're just lucky as fuck xD. I am staggering clues (though there are quite a few floating around Codex...) because I want offline people to have a chance to come online and take a crack at it.

Clues are placed in any topic, any page, but I will say this - I tried to leave hints about specific places. Some clues lead to other clues. And of course, I can only edit my own posts.
