Apologies for the delay, got held up out of town for a little longer than expected!
@Hikimaru, @Froggo, @Swar, @cara, @Nymh, @Kat, @Coops, @Muirex, @Fawktastix, @UnicornSoul, @Trapezeo, @Bones, @Silentqueen, @Amarillo, @Bendida
This first day will "end" at Midnight (CST) on Saturday the 26th of August.
The Game is Afoot!
All the guests attending this weekend gathering of friends have been called to the Drawing Room. Sweeney, the host, informs all that have gathered that a murder has taken place. UnicornSoul has been discovered brutally beaten to death in the Lewisham Study. No murder weapon was found, no one knows of any reason why she would be targeted, and most importantly no one knows who perpetrated this horrific act of violence.
The stormy weather has rendered all outside communication impossible, and the staff of the mansion were given leave for the weekend to ensure privacy for the distinguished visitors. Clearly, the murderer has some way of moving around in rooms that are closed off, so it is up to you to locate the head butler's keys and set about solving this conundrum!
Open rooms:
Drawing Room | Butler's Office | Armory | Scullery | Solarium | Wine Cellar

The way you did this reminds me of those flash escape games. I'm loving it.

That was intentional I used to play this really old one where you had to escape a series of rooms on a space station, I think. There were wheels you had to find, and a pool table puzzle. I think the first step was sliding a poster under a door and knocking the key onto it. I wish I could remember the name of it! It was an acronym for something dumb

According to the rules, I was meant to randomly select a participant to die And one to be the murderer, too! You're just unlucky - can you solve your own murder?!

Fuck. lol.
I don't mind sharing my own progress to stir up some activity in the thread and to get people's minds warmed up. Also, I firmly believe in working together anyways.
