Opera Browser

If you have ever tried to look for proxies before to safely access multiple Neopets accounts, you'll know that they are a PAIN to find (if you don't want to pay for them). If you have read my guide on proxies, there is a large convoluted process to actually get working proxies. However, I have found something that will make your cheating life easier!

In comes Opera Browser! Opera Browser is privacy oriented, with a built in ad-blocker! The important part is that it comes with a free, unlimited use fast VPN, and it won't break every couple of weeks! This is useful for browsing a secondary account manually (but will not work with Abrosia or any other program), and getting around firewalls/filters. The advantage that Opera Browser have over Epic Browser is that it will not block any 3rd party extensions, so you can install whatever you want!

To utilize the VPN in Opera Browser:

For more information on proxies and managing multiple Neopets accounts, please refer to my proxy guide. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Remember, if you aren't paying for a service in a monetary sense, you're paying for it through other means.

It's almost a guarantee that Opera is logging and selling data of those who tunnel through this VPN. Oh, and, technically it isn't a VPN, it's just a HTTP proxy.

You should still get your own VPN service, select one from this list based on what features and/or privacy level you care about.

God I absolutely loved Opera back in versions 9-12, and I still have 12.16 installed. Best browser of the time. I'll move back when it has more features like it did back in the day, or at least when its as customizable as 12.16 was out of the box. But it still won't feel the same as it used to due to the web engine switch...

@Dan - how does an http proxy differ from a VPN? Is it not as safe to use with alternate accounts on sites?
