So I just got my first haggle rejected message on Abrosia, and to make matters worse it was on a stamp worth 100mil neopoints:

Missed Battle Slices Stamp: Haggle Rejected. (Est. Profit: 84985824 NP)

besides wanting to kill myself right now, just wondering if I should change my haggle percent after this? For the past 2 months I have been using the same haggle percent of 4.9 (with fingering) and this is my first time my haggle was ever rejected  in that time frame. apparently you can get a 'haggle rejected' message even when offering the full price of an item? haven't seen too much info on this so I am not sure but it would be possible since in the past 2 months I have successfully bought many stamps at 4.9 haggle percent with no problem until now.

should I just lower my haggle percent or what? or was I just very unlucky and this happens everynow and then no matter what I do

Haggle rejection can happen on full price yes.

As for the haggle % why have it so high mine is set to 1.2% works fine for me.

Yeah ouch, that sucks, but you need to realise, people who are successful at buying these items are the ones that keep their haggle percentages much lower than 4.9%. I have always used 0.5% and barely ever miss anything decent. I also live in Australia, so..... yeah.

well that was my first haggle rejected in 2-3 months, everyone here told me 4.9-5.2 haggle percent was completely fine , well fuck now I know, I will have it at 0.5 now. and you said you barely miss anything? meaning with 0.5 you still get haggle rejected sometimes?

No, no haggle rejected errors, just the occasional 'item sold out' because my buy time wasn't quick enough.

I managed to get a BSS before with your haggle. Its just luck. I've got good items even with that high of a haggle %. Notably, BSS, BGC.

Am I missing something? How does a lower haggle percent buy items faster? Thanks.

It doesn't necessarily guarantee buying items at a quicker pace, however, if someone is trying to buy the same item at the same time as you and they use a higher percentage, you would find 90% of the time, your haggle will beat theirs.

Makes a lot more sense now that I had some time to sleep and not think about it at 5 AM LOL. Thanks!
