Hi guys, havent played in a long long time. I left about 2 years ago when the suap dupe happened. Anyway I have about 20mil total, want to get back into autobuying, would prefer selling less items that sell for a lot of profit.

Hows neopets in general? Are we still using abrosia to autobuy?

peace!

Neopets has gotten much quiter than it was, but the current team is showing effort to fix broken parts of the site. Progress is happening slowly though.

Abrosia is still very good. The decline of users is also affecting the Neocodex database though. Most prices are still correct however. It seems that many people also use Valorsuite to autobuy. That one is also very good.

As for your strategy of selling few items for a lot of profit I don't think it will really work. Morphing Potions have deflated a lot and are hard to sell. Stamps have gone up in price because of newly released avatars, but personally I don't have much luck in the stamp shop. Many r99 have great price fluctuations. There are legit restockers on the boards complaining all the time because it's much harder to make a profit.

Recently there was a huge inflation of spooky foods because of a newly released avatar that involves Brain Tree quests, but that's practically over.

Buying items is pretty easy now, due to Abrosia and Valor suite. Plus, with less users it's easier to grab things. Problem is, with less users it's harder to sell things since there aren't a ton of people buying. I'd recommend selling more items for less profit, rather than few items for more profit. With the user decline, items don't sell as fast and it might take a long time to make profit. With more items at a lower profit, you should consistently sell items. I do it that way, and while it can still take some time, it takes less time than trying to sell one or two really big items.

You get a lot more items now, I've RSed 10-70 mil stamps three times this past month but most prices have really declined so you don't make as much as quickly as you used to be able to saying that I've pretty much ditched the MP shop very little profit and difficult to sell items

I'm not an Autobuyer user but the consensus here is about right. Magic seems to really have dipped, it's almost as if species matters more than color when rs'ing MP's now. I haven't stooped down to trying spooky foods, as I'm not trying to avoid the big shops, but Stamp is utterly packed with AB's it's nearly impossible to get a stamp legit nowadays :(

At time's i can actually restock more profit by hand then using a ABer in a day just from going from shop to shop legit. kinder funny but yeah. decline in player ship doesn't help.

How bad has it gotten really? I also came back from multi-year hiatus. Let's say on average something took 1 day to sell before, now how long would that something take to sell?

That depends on the items' price, if it's a one use item, an item asked for on quests....many variables go into that. But generally, it'll take longer.
