Hey all. Made an account mostly to ask this question. Just got back into Neo and found some old accounts with stuff from dupe day. :)

It should be safe now, just make sure to use a legit-looking account to sell so people don't suspect the item is duped. Also try to give some time between sales, appearing with 8 SuAPs for sale at once would be suspicious as hell.

Thank you Hikimaru! Newbie question, can I ask what a legit-looking account is? I only have 8 trophies and 208 avatars, would I be okay?

Speaking from experience, time is always a good thing when it comes to dupe day. The very first highly publicized dupe day I waited a week to transfer most of my stuff and had no issues, but more is always better. The amount of time you have waited is more than adequate. Though definitely follow the suggestions @Hikimaru as far as keeping high value items apart. The trophies and avatars are alright, if you're questioning them feel free to try for more game avatars and trophies with the tuts we have on-site for safe ones. For what you can sell some high value items for, you could buy semi mains and transfer the items to them to sell and while taking a cut in profit still make good money. That said JS isnt nearly as strict as TNT used to be.

Those stats should be fine depending on the items you're trying to sell, as @WarezHaxor said if you don't think they're good you can always improve them a bit. But when I say "legit-looking" I'm not talking only about stats. Small things like having a Neohome and custom user/pet lookups (premade is fine) makes a difference because that's what we see and think "this person is playing on this account and put some effort into it, it's not just a shell".

This, of course, is my personal opinion on the situation, you can do whatever you feel is safer. If you're still lost, buying a ready semi-main is an option to consider too. In most cases, those were played by a previous owner at some point, so the account is in fact legit.

Ok. Thanks all. And yeah I heard that new owners aren't as freeze-happy as they were before.. hope that trend continues especially since Neopets is now dying :(

It is true. Still remain vigilant but I can say with certainty that I push the boundaries and sti get away with it. At least for the time being.

I would be careful. TNT doesn't give two shits, other people though....... I nearly had a run in with people the other day asking nosey questions about an item I had.  I wasn't parading it around either.
