Hey, in case you guys aren't aware yet, there are lots of account got GUPed today. Any idea what's happening? What got hacked and lead to this? I sure don't want any of us get pulled into this

I don’t know the specific case you’re referring to, but it’s probably Sean just pissed off as people.

Looks like TNT deleted all the threads.
Many people in PC and HC reported they got GUPed and some accounts even talk about IPs and emails and such.

BTW who's Sean? Who did they piss off?

Sean is just some guy on the internet and the people are those who sold out other cheaters to TNT or did chargebacks on him or his circle.

 

If your account is active and didn't buy anything from sites whose sole purpose is to sell Neopets virtual commodities, then you have nothing to worry about. The guy's pretty honorable about only stealing goods from inactive accounts that obviously haven't logged in for a year, regardless if you set your status to 'stealth'.

 

He may or may not be what caused the uproar you're referring to, but he and his friends are out there.
