Once i'm finished at work and have done shopping I'm at home and doing abso-fucking-lutely nothing.

Take care you guys.

I was lucky enough that my country goverment locked down the country fast enough, there's like 70-80 new cases each day, I think that's ok

Update: I have been asked to start working in the hospital for the next month--not because we have lots of COVID (our community still hasnt been hit bad) but to have a "clean" team for newborns. So I am gonna just be seeing lots and lots of new babies in the hospital for the next month, which is actually nice. I like babies

just keep your selves protected. wash your hands and don't touch your eyes. If your an essential worker I recommend changing clothes and taking a shower after work.

Stay safe and stay healthy!

@Kaddict I ended up not answering your message, my bad! We're testing but definitely not enough. Things just keep getting worse, we've surpassed the 10k deaths mark and our president is still a piece of shit. It's gotten to a point that I don't even have the energy to get angry, I just feel sad and frustrated about it.

IDK how to explain since med school here is different but we call it internship and it's basically rotations I think. It lasts four semesters and the first one is very general clinic stuff, mostly working at hospitals. I love it so much but we're not allowed to go back yet and I'm going a little crazy LOL but I understand why, even though I'd love to help.

I can't believe states are opening up, I'm a nurse in a major city and seeing people out just infuriates me. This isn't going to be over for awhile.

Since the coronavirus came to the states, I've been feeling like a hypochondriac and was afraid I had symptoms. Thankfully I didn't, but I was (and still am) worried that my elderly parents will catch it, and I know one of them will die from it if they get it. My aunt apparently caught the virus when it hit DC, but thankfully her symptoms were mild.

My firm has had us working from home since mid March, and I went insane for the first few weeks because my parents and brother have been constantly annoying me. I'm used to it now. I really should be thankful that I still have my job, 'cause unemployment is skyrocketing.

Honestly, this pandemic hasn't affected me negatively (yet). I get to work from my own home, I have access to food (as long as I keep my hands clean), and I don't have to take that dirty metrorail to work.

It's been crazy y'all. I've been fortunate enough to be able to work from home, but we've kinda downsized, let the office lease expire, more changes could still be afoot etc.

On the plus side, seems like I do enjoy staying at home. It's kind of a privilege though, I can just imagine how many people are struggling right now.

Also, seems like a LOT has been happening lately not just the coronavirus...which itself is already a once-in-a-century kinda thing. Stay safe please everyone, keep well, take care of your mental health too yeah not just the physical.

We're currently in a position where any office based staff may never go back to the office, they've functioned fine without an office, so why spend the money.

It's a very strange world we're about to enter.

The cases of coronavirus has been reducing in my state but increasing in other states. What to do? I feel trapped.
