I read here that to use the Trading Post, one cannot use real currency to buy/sell Neopets-related items, accounts, Neopoints, etc. But it seems people on these forums do so openly... Is there a catch? I'm hoping to sell some stuff on my 15+ year account but don't want to break any rules. Any help much appreciated!

You are not able publicly to trade real currency (we call it "galaxy bucks" or "other" here) for in-game currency. However, if you were to do it, message potential buys/sellers privately. That way we don't know about it, nor do any visitors to the site.

Good luck!!

Aha, understood! Thanks!
