tools needed
programs attached
ps2 network adapter
hard drive (plugs into network adapter)
exploder v5 kit (from any ps2 shop)
plugin ur hard drive and network card.
plug your usb to usb cable that came with ecploder into your pc and the other side into your ps2 windows will pop up with new hardware found close all that insert the disk with the label "for your pc" into ur pc and install the softwar + drivers

unhook the usb cable from ur ps2 and insert the exploder disk labeld "for ps2" into ur ps2.

grab any ps1 game (I used a demo disk)
insert it into ur pc and close any autorun if it starts click
my computer
right click d:\
press explore
open note pad
drag the file names "system" into notepad
we need the humber thats like this
SLUS_004.37
mine actually says
SLUS_004.37;1
but ignore that bit

Unzip the titlemanfrontend.zip to whatever folder you want. Go to this folder and double-click “Titleman Frontend.exe”. You should get a window like this: Click “Create TITLE.DB”. Then, from the pull down list, pick the S_ _ _ that matches your region. Following my above example, you would choose SLUS. In the empty space next to this dropdown tab, type in the numbers you wrote on the scrap of paper, including the period. I would have written “004.37” in the space. Click the “Add Exec” button. Now click the “List current contents of TITLE.DB” button and make sure your newly added S-value is in the window. Close the program

Copy the new “TITLE.DB” from the Titleman folder into the “Memory Card Files” folder in the “Everything you Need” folder. (Keep it in ALL CAPS)
Unzip the PS2SaveBuilder.zip to whatever folder you want. Go to this folder and double-click “ps2save-builder.exe”. In the space next to “Root/ID” type the following, without quotes :
I. “BEDATA-SYSTEM” if you are in Australia or NZ (PAL)
ii. “BADATA-SYSTEM” if you are in the US (NTSC)
Select “Edit”, then “Add File” from the top menu. Navigate to the “Memory Card Files” folder inside the “Everything You Need” folder. One by one, add all of these files, including the TITLE.DB you created earlier.
b. Your list should now have these files :
I. BOOT.ELF
ii. CDVD.IRX
iii. HDLOADER.ELF
iv. TITLE.DB
v. icon.sys
vi. my.icn

NOTE IF YOU ARE USING A JAPANESE PS2  You must make 2 save files. One with “BIDATA-SYSTEM” as the Root/ID type that contains ONLY the TITLE.DB and the icon.sys. The second save file should have a “BADATA-SYSTEM” Root/ID and contains the rest of the files.

Save the memory card file by clicking the disk icon or selecting “File”, then “Save as” from the top pull-down menu. Name the file whatever you like, I like calling it “exploit” so that I know what it is. Be sure to select “Xploderv4” as the “Save as type” save it to
c:\progam files\firelink\xlink\saves
make sure the exploder disk in ur ps2 is on the main menu screen and load the xlink software the right hand list will now list all ur games on ur memrey card drag the exploit file from the left list to the right list when its complete reset ur pc and insert ur ps1 game
after some text we get a almost dos looking program press r1
goto mc0
load hdloader.elf
there we have it u can now copy and load games from ur hard drive
not only that but this is a hacked version that supports  > 120gb hard drvies!

styppy not true. once you open the x-box you void your warrenty no matter how long it is or how w your x-box is. also you can mod your x-box totally and completly down to replacing the HDD in it and putting anything you would want on it down to running linux if you truly wanted to.. and yes you can run linux without never once opening your x-box. I read about it about before ad seen it happen
