Due to increased security measures that we are taking at neocodex, we have taken the codex checks offline to read over some of the code and make sure it is secure and safe to use on our board system. This means that the programs will be down for the ti'me being but do not fret, the codex checks will be back soon. Shadowlink will be looking through the code for any possible vulnerabilities and then we will reinstate the codex checks like they were before.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hydro meant SL64's checking the Codex Checks mod they made for IPB for any vulnerabilities like SQL injection, URL Spoof etc. thingies :D so that the check will not be crackable.

They only check the scripts used. The DLL is up to Mumei :D

And oh, you CAN actually crack the program :p if the author is not careful.. like not closing the DLL before sending the user a message that the program is inactive... hmmm :ermm:

I'll give you one thing I've found out while trying to crack the dll..

The out of memory error is a few open bytes in the file headers. Inject a overpass dll into that dll and the thing is corrupted. I'm trying to find a chaOS emulator so I can show you what I mean..

Also editing the libaries mentioned in the hex opened dll screwes it up, changing int to str and str to int provides some interesting results.

Yeah, what WLT said is correct. I forgot to include routines that check the input variables for any SQL characters and other potentially dangerous code. Once I get home tonight, I will review the code and make all the changes to it.
