First lets open flash :(

Ok now lets take a look at the ti'meline...Thats the bar at the top. Make a keyframe by highlighting a frame and pressing f6 or by right clicking and putting (insert keyframe).

1. Grab your brush tool and make a line.
2.Add a keyframe to frame 5 and make another line
3.Add a keyframe to frame 10 and make another line and so on and so on till your done.

When your done press "enter" or press control and play or test movie at the top menu. You can add more

To make the button that takes you to codex at the end.

1.Make a square or circle
2.Right click it and convert to a symbol>make it a button
3.Go to the actionscript and put this in it.
