You can now change your username
There is a new feature on the board where you can now request your username to be changed. It is in my controls and on the bottom left of your options. You must fill out every part of the form. Also, dont forget to let everyone know who you were before
...please allow up to 48 hours for your name to be changed. You will recieve confirmation in your email inbox that your name was changed.Accepting files from others
You never know what kind of modifications have been made to programs or what sort of hidden stuff is included in a program. Be careful about what you accept from other people. I also recommend you install a firewall and antivirus software onto your computer. Also, some spyware scanners would be good. This is all to protect your computer. You dont have to worry about any of this stuff on codex however, we make sure this doesnt appear in our programs and ban those members that try to pull a fast one.

Many of you are downloading files still in the untested programs area. You must realize that this is at your own risk. These programs have not yet been checked for malicious stuff inside them and we cannot be held responsible for what happens to your computer if you do download these programs...please wait until they are moved to the certified programs area.
Sudden increase of new members
Have you noticed the sudden rise of new members. Well, I have and have a reason as well...if you think about it, why is it that they suddenly stopped and then started again. It is actually our fault that they stopped. they all wanted to join, except that our GD library was screwed and we didnt know. It wouldnt show the sign up I'mage so they couldnt join. However, we fixed that by downgrading the GD Library and new members are free to sign up again. Welcome to all the new members!

I have purged all of the programs in the untested programs that were not neopets related or were duplicates of programs. Hopefully this will make the untested programs area look a little cleaner than it did before
and wont give the I'mpression that we dont move things in the untested into the certified section
