They were a bunch of white ppl who wanted a white america. Still some of them alive today. Extreme Racists, they hanged tortured and excecuted black people.

Ku Klux Klan (<-- Correct Spelling) have been around since around 1861, they are still around today but are fewer of them and no longer torture blacks, jews, I'migrants etc. The are in the southern states of USA, and the KKK members are called WASPs (White Anglo-Saxon Protestants)
