Gah! damn comp died (again)!

This ti'me is was because of Mcafee and their damn virus scan it totally destroyed my comp, but before I had to reformat (again) I saved all my current VB projects to disc along with a few other progs and some stuff, so it wasn't all bad this ti'me lol

Si'mple Solution? Get a new firewall and Virus Software. I would reccomend Norton Antivirus 2004 and for firewall: ZoneAlarm Pro.  Theyve not let me down.

most pplz advise u not to get norton, they are more annoying than anything on my comp :D

norton sux, cause it burns so many sys res. I advise you to get panda (+ it has built in fw)

113 is right, I use the online panda active scan and its great :D

panda AS, is kewl but it is not a program but an online scan, I have a Panda antivirus platinui'm, which has an FW

I hate norton personally...it doesnt pick anything up ...I uninstalled it and installed mcafee and it picked up like 30 new viruses and trojans :drool: ...

some of them were in nhacks progs ;)
